How To: Install TWRP Recovery and Root New 2013 Nexus 7

The new Nexus 7 (2013) was just revealed at Google’s latest even with Sundar Pichai, and development has already begun. In fact, those who are interested will be able to flash custom ROM’s at the earliest, because you can now install TWRP and root your new tablet. The instructions are right after the jump.

Bootloader must be unlocked (fastboot oem unlock – this code should unlock it)
Some experience with hacking
Procedure to install TWRP on Nexus 7 (2013) – 


Download the TWRP image from HERE
Move the image that you downloaded above to where you have ADB and fastboot
Enter the following (fastboot flash recovery FILENAME.img) 
Procedure to ROOT Nexus 7 (2013) –

Download SuperSU from HERE and copy it to the Internal Storage of the Nexus 7.
Reboot into Recovery (Power+Volume Down)
Flash SuperSU from Install > Download
